About my approach
I believe therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical or distant.
Instead, it can feel like exhaling. Like finding your way back to yourself.
Just a real, grounded, human connection — shaped around you. I work creatively and collaboratively, drawing on art, metaphor, and embodied awareness to create meaningful experiences.
Your therapy is co-created with you, to meet you exactly where you are.

What I offer
One-on-one sessions
In person, in my cosy studio in Spennymoor, or online if it's easier.
Life can be unpredictable, especially with children or caring responsibilites, so I also offer online sessions and a hybrid option (In person + online) - so you don't miss out when things suddenly change.
Counselling in a second language
Living in English when it isn’t your first language can be both empowering and exhausting. You may find yourself losing nuance, feeling misunderstood, or shifting parts of your identity depending on the words available to you.
Because English is my second language too, I understand these hidden layers. In therapy with me, you don’t need “perfect” words — together, we’ll find your own language for what matters.
Supervision (coming soon)
A culturally-aware, embodied space to reflect on your practice.
More details will follow, but the heart of it will be support that honours both the personal and professional sides of you.
Bilingual therapy
I work in both English and Russian,
offering support to clients and organisations working with Russian-speaking clients.
Interpreting
Russian–English interpreting specifically for counselling spaces, bridging language without losing the emotional connection.
What to expect
Getting to know our sessions
The first session is a little different.
We’ll spend some time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you here.
I’ll also explain how sessions work and check in about practicalities and things that matter for you and your life.
After that, our sessions are more about the flow of conversation—sometimes looking at what’s happening day to day, sometimes stepping back to see the bigger picture.
The most important part is the connection between us. Counselling isn’t about me giving answers, but about us working together in a way that feels safe and useful for you.
You don't need to share if you are not ready, and there is no expectation to tell me everything; we will move at your pace.
It's very normal to feel nervous - in fact, I feel that in the first session, too.
It's ok to be confused and not know exactly where to start or where you want to be.
Meeting your rhythm
Most people prefer to meet weekly - the same day and time, others fortnightly or monthly.
We can shape the rhythm around what works best for you.
Counselling sessions are typically 50 minutes.
Sometimes it can feel too short. I also offer 90-minute sessions if you’d like more space.
Working together
Sessions are £50 — an investment in your wellbeing, and in giving yourself the space to breathe.
If you’d like more time, 90-minute sessions are £75.
If booking several sessions together makes it easier, I can offer a reduced rate.
For the corporate clients, prices are to be negotiated.
Making it work for you
I want our sessions to fit around you and your needs.
I bring an inclusive, anti-oppressive approach and adapt our work in ways that feel right for you.
My studio in Spennymoor is on the second floor, so it’s not wheelchair accessible—but if that or anything else could make sessions tricky, we’ll find a way to connect that works for you, whether online or hybrid approach.
Book a 15-min welcome call
This is a short, friendly chat so you can get a feel for me, without any pressure. It’s not a counselling session, just a chance to meet, ask a few questions, and see if it feels right before booking. Think of it as your first hello — a gentle step into what could become your space.
