About
The Heart
of my practice
I am here to reimagine what therapy can feel like - playful, flexible, and deeply personal.
This is a space shaped around you.
Together, we co-create a way of working that fits your needs, your pace, and your way of being — not the other way around. Whether that means talking, creating, reflecting, moving, or just being — there’s room for it all here.
My mission is to honour the whole of you — to make therapy feel less like a box to fit into, and more like a space to grow from.
They way I work
I am an integrative practitioner,
which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and weave them together to suit your unique needs, pace, and preferences.
I often work creatively — using art, metaphor, imagery, movement, and more — to help you explore your inner world in ways that feel safe, meaningful, and accessible.
This can be especially helpful if talking feels too much. You don’t have to share your story if you’re not ready — we can still do powerful work.
The best part - you don't have to be creative to do this type of work.
I work holistically,
honouring the whole of you — your mind, body, stories, culture, strengths, struggles and everything in-between.
Therapy with me can be short-term or open-ended, with space to pause, reflect, and reshape the journey as it unfolds.
We check in every six sessions to make sure it still feels right, and if it doesn’t — we change it together. You decide what you need and when you want to finish; it has to work for you.
I am here — when you’re ready.
My Philosophy
I believe:
You are not broken.
You do not need fixing.
You already hold everything you need for your healing —
I am here to help you tend to it.
In our work together, I aim to:
-
Create safety and help you feel seen.
-
Build on the strengths and resources already within you.
-
Help you discover new tools and ways of coping.
-
Offer fresh perspectives and new ways of relating.
-
Support you in making sense of things — past, present, and future.
-
Walk beside you through grief, transition, and life’s tender moments.
-
And help you reconnect with the parts of yourself you may have forgotten.
Whatever you're carrying, whatever you're facing — you're not alone.
I am here to meet you where you are, and walk with you as you find your way forward.
About me as a professional
My Background
I’m a qualified integrative counsellor with a deep belief in the power of therapy to be both tender and transformative.
My approach is warm, creative, and relational — rooted in the idea that healing doesn’t follow a script. No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn’t be either.
I’ve walked alongside people of many ages and life experiences — from children and young people in schools and colleges, to adults navigating grief, trauma, abuse, identity, loss, and life’s messier chapters. I currently work primarily with adults, but my practice is inclusive and welcoming to people of all genders and backgrounds.
I’m registered with a professional counselling body (BACP) and hold enhanced DBS clearance and full professional insurance — your emotional and physical safety are central to the work we do together.
My integrative practice weaves together a person-centred foundation with elements of Gestalt, psychodynamic approach, CBT, creative arts therapies, and trauma-informed, body-aware ways of working.
I bring my whole self to this work — grounded, compassionate, curious — and I invite you to bring yours, just as you are.
Who I work with
I work with adults of all genders, backgrounds, and identities.
People often come to me after surviving abuse, violence, neglect, or loss — but you don’t have to name your pain to be held in it.
I offer a space that’s trauma-informed, culturally aware, sensitive and deeply respectful of your pace.
What I work with
You might be:
– feeling disconnected — from yourself, others, or your sense of purpose;
– navigating grief, endings, transitions or uncertainty;
– carrying the weight of trauma, violence, or experiences that changed you;
– trying to untangle old patterns or heal from what still lingers;
– seeking new ways of being, relating, and moving forward in your life;
– or simply needing a safe space to exhale, feel, and be heard.
You don’t need a diagnosis or have it all figured out to begin.
I’ll walk alongside you, wherever you are on your path.
No problem is too big or too small here.
Whatever brings you to me — you are welcome.
A person behind the practice
I'm Sasha — a bit untamed and deeply sensitive therapist.
I grew up between cultures — born in Russia, raised across the Middle East in places like Syria and Yemen. I’m what’s called a third culture kid — I didn’t just visit different cultures, I lived them. That shaped how I see people: with curiosity, depth, and a deep respect for difference.
I'm also a mother, and that grounds my philosophy: I believe people already have what they need to change. They don’t need to be fixed — just met with kindness, safety, and relationship.
I’m introverted, neurospicy, and deeply tuned in. I feel the subtle stuff — the shifts in energy, the unspoken, the things others might miss. It makes me a good therapist... and also a person who needs to ground herself in forests, cold lakes, and the rhythm of drums to recover.
You’re more likely to find me barefoot among trees than in a noisy bar. I live for deep conversations, moonlight, fossils, spicy food, live music, and the purring of cats (objectively the best creatures on the planet).
Before therapy, I studied world politics at Moscow State University and worked in international companies in Dubai. But it’s in this work — in sitting with people’s truth — that I’ve found home.
So if you’re looking for a counsellor who’s sensitive, soulful, culturally attuned and not afraid of the mess... I might be your person.
